Details about the pricing, storage configurations, and battery capacities of the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max for the European market have begun to emerge. According to GSMArena, the two flagship phones will be offered at premium prices and feature battery capacities that differ from their Chinese versions. The publication of European Energy Labels for both devices also suggests that their launch is drawing closer.
Prices starting at €1,449
The Xiaomi 18 Pro with 256 GB of storage is said to be priced at €1,449 in Europe. Consumers choosing the version with 512 GB of storage will reportedly have to pay €1,649. The device will be available in black, Cosmic Blue, Velvet Red, and white.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max is said to have more limited storage options. The model will reportedly be marketed only with 512 GB of storage and priced at €1,849. According to GSMArena, that price is equivalent to the recommended retail price of the iPhone 18 Pro Max with the same storage capacity in Europe.
These prices still come from reports and have not been announced officially by Xiaomi. The report also does not specify a sales date or which European countries will receive the two devices first.
European version battery capacities
The Xiaomi 18 Pro for the European market reportedly has a rated battery capacity of 6,000 mAh. The typical capacity listed in future marketing materials is expected to be either 6,100 mAh, 6,150 mAh, or 6,200 mAh. This is lower than the 7,000 mAh battery in the model intended for the Chinese market.
A larger difference is said to apply to the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. The European version has a rated battery capacity of 7,050 mAh and will likely be marketed with a typical capacity of 7,200 mAh. Meanwhile, the Chinese variant reportedly uses an 8,500 mAh battery.
The report does not explain why Xiaomi uses different battery capacities for the European and Chinese markets. Therefore, the impact on endurance in everyday use cannot be determined from capacity figures alone.
Charging support
Although the European versions are said to have smaller batteries, their charging capabilities remain substantial. The Xiaomi 18 Pro reportedly supports wired charging at up to 90 watts. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max will support 100-watt wired charging, the same as both Chinese versions.
Support for 50-watt wireless charging is also said to be retained on the devices marketed in Europe. No details are available about how long it will take to fully charge the batteries of the two phones.
The European Energy Labels also include estimated battery durability. Xiaomi estimates that the batteries in both devices can last for at least 1,000 charging cycles before their capacity declines to below 80 percent of the original capacity.
European launch draws closer
European Energy Labels for the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max have been published. GSMArena considers the appearance of the labels an indication that the launch of both devices in the region is drawing closer.
However, no launch date has been mentioned. Confirmation of the final prices, storage options, colors, and battery specifications still awaits Xiaomi's official announcement for the European market.
